In late October, the Ontario Trade Mission to China put the focus on local Ontarian science and technology companies, as well as strengthened innovative connections between China and Canada. NPScreen was proud to be a part of the Ontario Science and Technology Delegation that Premier Kathleen Wynne led to Nanjing and Shanghai, and then on to Beijing.
As part of this Trade Mission, NPScreen attended the 4th China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology Transfer and Commercialization, as well as participated in the Jiading Technology Zone and Business Park.
The week was completed with the Ontario-Beijing Innovation Forum, and then a cancer patient forum held in Hong Kong. The event was aimed at connecting those who deal with the disease, and was organized by CancerLink. Dr. Raymond Tsang was a main presenter.
Not only was the trip successful in opening up possibilities for collaborative growth between health care organizations, it also helped to strengthen innovative development in both countries. NPScreen was honored to represent Markham, Ontario on the world stage.
